Tina Fey: Made iN NY
It's been a good June for Tina Fey. The buzz about Baby Mama is positive and she even picked up a nice award to close out the spring.
Tina Fey was a "Made in New York" honoree. The awards go to folks who do their best to keep production on the east coast, particularly in NYC. I doubt it's the most popular award out in LaLaLand, but in the Big Apple it probably qualifies as a Big Deal.
CBS News' Showbuzz explains:
"30 Rock" creator and veteran "Saturday Night Live" writer/star Fey is being honored, said Oliver, for being "very vocal about supporting New York production." She stars in the Universal Pictures comedy "Baby Mama," now filming in the city in locations which substitute for Philadelphia.
Way to Go, Tina Fey! She hearts NY so much that she'll turn Gotham into the City of Brotherly Love if she needs to do so!
